The  Clandestine Scam

You, me and of course our so called politically free media (as mentioned by P.Sainath) have talked enough about a list of scams like 2G, Coalgate, Aadarsh Society scam, CWG and others. However, nobody has talked about KG scam. It involves the then Gujarat Chief Minister and now our selfie king Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation (GSPC). Our PM claimed in 2005 of discovering some gas reserves in Krishna Godavari river basin. GSPC roped in many companies (one of them was formed in 2005 itself) for extraction of gas. A whopping 19,700 crore spent, but not a single puff is extracted. The PSU took loans from public banks for the same. The Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) has highlighted this scam.
